Meet the newest members of the Beyond Face Team

15 June 2026

We're excited to introduce some of the newest members of our team! As we continue to deepen our work, we're delighted to welcome talented individuals who bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to their roles. To help everyone get to know them a little better, we've asked each of our new associates and team members to share a bit about themselves, what they'll be doing, and of course a MoJ of the week. Read on to meet the people behind the roles and join us in giving them a warm welcome to the team!

Meet the team

Hi, I’m Dulcie the Engagement Producer at Beyond Face. I’ll be looking after our Youth Company and Regional Voices strands as well as engaging our wider audiences.I’m so excited to be joining the team because putting global majority voices in the centre of theatre (both as audience members and creatives) is a real passion of mine and the Youth Company members are so much fun that I think I’m going to be in stitches every day! The value that most speaks to me is Community because I believe that facilitating a creative, engaged community is the first step to a happier, more peaceful world.

Hi, I'm Malaika! I'm excited to be joining Beyond Face as the Creative Engagement Associate, supporting global majority artists in the South West to deepen and sustain their facilitation practice and helping to build a strong network of creativity, shared skills and new connections. I'm looking forward to working with the Beyond Face team to find and create ways to support artists in sustaining their practice. Having grown up in Ashburton in the late 90s and early 00s, I understand some of the challenges facing global majority people in the region. I've long admired Beyond Face's dedication to uplifting this artist community. Over the past decade they've proven that a human-centered approach to making work doesn't sacrifice ambition or quality, in fact the opposite - treat people well, and their work will flourish. I believe this deeply, and feel very lucky to become part of a team that upholds these values.

Hey I'm Euella, and I'm Beyond Face's Creative Impact Associate. Beyond Face has always been a special place for me and so many other artists and practitioners across the region, so I'm really excited to be working with the team to creatively explore and share the ways Beyond Face is changing people's lives.

Hi, I'm Hattie, General Manager with Beyond Face. I'm really excited to join a team whose values align so closely with my own. I centre joy, creativity, and ambition through every step of my practice, and I'm excited to join a team that uses these values to make great theatre. What an exciting time ahead!

What is their MoJ of the week

Dulcie -  My MoJ this week is England beating Croatia in the World Cup and proving that football is indeed coming home!

(Okay this one might be from a few weeks ago but fingers crossed for the finals! 🦁⚽️🎉

Malaika - My MoJ this week was sitting in my mum's garden in Plymouth with her and my sister, eating nacho chips, gossiping and watching a little solar-powered fountain, the water jumping much higher than expected and sparkling in the hot afternoon sun."

Euella - My MOJ is going to Rising Arts Agency's Rising DECADE exhibition closing party in Bristol and seeing their incredible community of young artists celebrate themselves and each other.

Hattie - Finding a full stamp card for my favourite coffee shop in my purse and enjoying my free coffee in the sun - pure moment of joy!
