imPOSSIBLE is a theatre, events and experiences company founded in Cornwall, working across the UK and internationally.
Launched in 2020 by Creative Directors Charlie Bunker (Wildworks, ACE) and Gabby Vautier (Young Vic, Barbican), imPOSSIBLE develops ideas from the first spark through to full production. Our work spans theatre producing, immersive experiences, festivals and event design.
In six years we have supported 40+ creative projects, including award-winning theatre, large-scale musicals, immersive and VR experiences, orchestras and podcasts, alongside five Island Residencies and three international festivals.
In 2024 we launched The South West End and in 2025 The Impossible Ideas Studio, commissioning new theatre, events and experiences with commercial potential.
In 2026 we hosted the Made in Cornwall Summit, bringing together 150 artists, venues and cultural organisations to explore how to make ambitious work in challenging times.
Our third FIAFest – Falmouth International Arts Festival, took place alongside the summit in March 2026, bringing world-class performance and local talent together across the town.
